Phinehas Hodges was raised in a cabin in Washington State without running water or electricity, so movies and TV, when he saw them, transfixed him. He has memories of sitting in a stupor on a friend's sofa as Friend's blared and parents tried ineffectually to move him. Since then, he's worked as a commercial director, writer for TV and documentary, and a director of short films. Today he lives in that director's paradise, Los Angeles, and videos continue to transfix and inspire him.
